Hey all, new member, just signed up as we just got this card via a random mailing to us offering the fee-waiver for the first year.. I had a question, and I was hoping someone might've been through this scenario and could explain it to me..

I made my reservations for our 4th of July travel on United with my MP#, but before I had signed up for this card. Thus the tickets were not purchase on the UnitedClub card.

I'm wanting to make sure that when I pick up our boarding passes, we'll see the premier access info on the ticket..

According to this thread ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...edit-card.html ) that is the case, but it wasn't clear if purchasing tickets with this card is a requirement for premier access (I know it is a requirement for waived baggage fees.. ).

I called customer service, and they said the premier info should be on the boarding passes, but I have a hard time trusting those people..

Has anyone booked a flight with a different card, and received Premier Access simply because they have a UnitedClub card associated with their MP account?
