Is OP wanting to watch their size & weight if travelling with a carry-on only or is design & reliability more important?
I always check bags (I hate dealing with them in the airport and on the plane) so carry ons are not an issue but weight sometimes is. I need a big toiletry bag, but the extra weight worries me that it might take a long time to dry if it had to be washed on the go. I really like the LL Bean otherwise. The Eagle Creek wallaby is a similar size but half the weight. Does anyone know what accounts for the extra weight in the LLBean bag?
