Au contraire, c-w-s. Th'iPad is a game changer. There are trips now when I could *almost* leave the laptop at home as pretty much everything is available on the iPad. I'm sure the same could be true of the myriad of Android tablets out there too. When I see people struggling to use a laptop in an ET seat I know why the iPad is a boon. With a decent set of phones the sound quality isn't half bad either - certainly better than early iPods.
