I spoke to Centurion Travel Service yesterday and they told me they had received a lot of complaints from Centurion/Platinum customers about CX status not being an on-going benefit.
I think the majority of it stems from poorly worded literature sent out to customers and staff either being unaware or misinformed whether it is a 1 year benefit or on-going. This confusion has then been relayed on to customers. Even AMEX UK on Twitter posted incorrectly recently that it was a on-going benefit for customers. You would have thought marketing would have sent out an email to customer speaking staff, informing them of the benefit and it's duration.
