I booked my parents a YVR - LHR ticket in J using my Amex. Unknown to me the transaction was processed in USD. I have no clue why, however when going back to look at the ticket, it does state USD. I only noticed this when checking my Amex statement this morning. As it has now been 3 days since booking it, is there anything I can do so that the ticket is purchased in CDN.
All I am trying to do is avoid the FX transaction fee's. I've booked other flights on AC.com on the same computer within the past few weeks, and those transactions were all in CDN, so I really have no idea why it came out in USD.
I imagine that I call Amex to try and resolve this, or do I call AC?
