I just did this 2 months ago w Kempinsky MUC for the day room. Ipyou may get the run around. The hotel will tell you LH must book it but that's not true. Don't speak to hotel RES. Speak to front desk. If a room is avail (sometimes they are not) the front desk will book it. Don't forget you must show BOTH boarding passes to the hotel
If your staying over night p, it might be easier to just pay a discounted rate at the Sheraton FRA. It's connected to the airport so no need to wait for bus, etc
