Thanks for the reply, KVS. I talked to two AAgents - they both said they can't do a long sell for award travel on AY.

Maybe the next step would be to call AY? Unfortunately their office is closed now, but I wonder if they would be any help.
Both AAgents also said it's possible that there is award availability, but only AY's FF members .... any merit to that?
