New kiosks won't take an unchipped passport?

Sure doesn't seem like it, and while I didn't try a statistically significant number of them, I did try a bunch.

It's really annoying, especially since the 1k/GS ticket agent at SFO had no clue how to enter a passport into the system manually, meaning that for my SFO-IAH-LHR flight, I had to get the second boarding pass at the gate in Houston.

I'm sure that the inability to get an international boarding pass either online or from an airport kiosk is just another one of those features that Mr. Smisek thinks we'll like.

BTW, the elite security line at SFO is getting worse and worse and worse now that not only can every elite use it, so can anyone with the right credit card.
