Why did you apply if you were not satisfied with the offer? American Express has no duty to match offers which were made to others.

I spoke to a rep when I inquired about
"bumping" me up to the 50000 bonus.The rep in the point awards dept. said "I would have to adhere to the first offer" and then call to see if I could be considered to be eligible for the better promo and if I decided to cancel the card because for "what ever reason",there was a chance I could have all my AMX cards be cancelled on me.
