And even today I don't connect through LHR. Why would I take my chances with strikes, incompetence in the face of snow, lack of capacity with only two runways where two dry leaves can ruin your travel plans? Especially when connecting through MUC or ZRH is so much nicer.

LHR is alright for direct flights, but I would never choose to connect through it.
