It is not like BA is ever bringing back a normal meal or snack in ET so you would really prefer them to offer nothing instead of BoB because that somehow devalues the airline. That is daylight snobbery!
I know what they serve on the shorter routes....free drink and nibbles isn't to be sniffed at. On longer routes do they still serve a sandwich? I do agree with your snobby comment although I haven't seen anyone saying that BOB would bring the image of BA down....apart from Genius1 that is and well we all know what he's like.

I would still be far happier with a free drink and nibbles on the shorter routes rather than make everything BOB.
