Hi, I remember hearing when IAG aquired BMI that they may have to surrender certain domestic slots (EDI/ABZ) and international slots (NCE,RUH,DME).

However did any airline actually bid for these slots? I hope not as it means BA can add more long-haul and unserved routes if, but if a competitor gobbles them up to use to compete on already served routes it would be a waste. Futhermore it appears as though the EU commission forgot that BA also has competition from Gatwick and other smaller airports in the london region.

Aprt from Seoul and the transfer of BMI/BMED routes did BA announce any other new routes with their new larger slot portfolio?
