What the OP is asking for isnt out of the realm of reality in regards to this specific flight, but it appears that his ignorance on this topic is what is setting quite a few people off in here.

To answer the OP politely - there is nothing you can do. It will either happen, or it wont. You asking for it wont help your chances at all, therefore its best to just check in normally, and hope for the best.
I had a friend who had no status upgraded from Biz to First on an Air France award flight this year from LAX to CDG. My wife (GM, paid ticket) and my 5 y/o daughter (no status, award ticket) upgraded to BE between LAX and NRT last week. The real question is, will I get the same upgrade next month when I join my family.
