I'm based in Italy. I always go to united.com search the flight i want and pay with my european credit card without problems. The invoice is in dollars and it shows up on my credit card in euros. The address on my MP account is in Italy as well. When I originally opened the account it was in the states but I can't see that making any difference.
I know I can use the EU booking engine... the issue is that it's now up to more 50% of the cost of buying the ticket in dollars.
Is it worth calling UA to whine about the rip off?
