And people wonder why employee morale in a legacy airline is rotten. Well, if I regularly dealt with people who thought that I should be replaced with a 20-something in a cheongsam from Singapore who's easy on the eyes, and that any benefit I had over minimum wage and crusts of bread was stealing from their hard-earned* elite benefits, and I was about to get my pay and benefits cut anyway, I might not have a song in my heat and a smile on my face 24/7/365 either.
