why don't you try thinking ahead and deferring your desire to drink by 1 hour, stopping by a liquor store to buy what you want ahead of time, putting it in the refrigerator, and saving yourself 10x the time compared to what you're doing now?
If your life consists of running around Asia, and often staying in really crappy places, you tend to cherish 5* hotels to the extent that you don't want to leave them whenever they pop up on the schedule.
