I'll be in US for the first time, flying into JFK, and then LAS, then LAX and then SFO. I'm not a very experienced traveller -- are there any different procedures in US than there are in Europe? Obviously, as a non-US citizen, I will probably have to go through a different check-up or something, but for those 4 particular airports, do you think there might be something that could confuse me? Idk, baggage claim, security, check-ins, etc...

The one thing I would add to what the others have said so far is that you will clear immigration and customs at JFK, even if you are connecting to LAS that same day. After you exit the plane you will see signs that say Arriving Passengers and Connecting Passengers. Just follow the ones that apply to you and you should be fine.
