If a hotel is great, and excellent value, like the one in question, I would stay there regardless of how gay it looked. I also frequent a lesbian bar in Bogotá because they have the best live music, I got some odd looks to start with but hey who cares.
Not the issue re this hotel though, the issue is that I have to take into account the sensibilities of our clients, which unlike the lesbian bar, is not a place I want to be. I feel it compromises our own liberal credentials if I need to contact clients to make sure they don't mind if the hotel looks a bit gay. Second guessing people's outlook on such things is not something that I want to involve myself with.
