The M4 / M25 is still a mess. They have been fixing stretches of it since I lived in London 15 years ago. They're still fixing the same spots. Plus apparently there are numerous Police checks everywhere now..

I know of no city that when travelling from the south ie Pimlico to Hamstead , that one must travel through London, ie Marble Arch.. That's what I did everyday when I had to drive my sister to work everyday in the late 90's.

I know many people are avoiding London during the Olympics cos they think of high prices etc. Hotels which have hogged rooms or charged high prices may have to retract their Olympic windfall.

Let's see what happens after the games...
