Given the choice I would fly Singapore Airlines (Bangkok-Singapore-Manila), or maybe Cathay Pacific (Bangkok-Hongkong-Manila) for the food and service; I forget though how the inflight entertainment is in biz class on those routes.
In the spirit of Flyertalk you can also try coming up with even more indirect routings such as Bangkok-Osaka-Manila etc
