True that they have different functions. Let's not compare the two since it wasn't offered in opposition to what was suggested in the OP.
If you want a bigger screen, a better CPU or a better GPU, you might make a different choice.
Other than portability, an SSD and looks, what makes the Sony a Porsche? The two models are more like a top end Mini and run of the mill SUV.
