I dont agree with anything you say. You are clearly not flying enough!!!

If you fly more, then you have more of a chance to fly with different airlines and then maintain your status.

With the changes happening at AF, do you really want status. Is it really correct that some countries continue to 'invest' in airlines. If the French govt were to walk away, then maybe AF would be forced to be better than BA. I am really complaining about govts controlling airlines. This causes new companies not to get involved in the industry as they wont win..
