At many Australian Airports you can't get anywhere without Shops immediately after Security and they now had the added attraction of shops before Arrival Immigration and unfortunately there is also often no easily available Public Transport even to the city centre.

At Heathrow you can even get easily accessable Public Transport to every other Major Airport in England. At PVG the Maglev closes around 9pm..WHY? its virtually fully Automatic.

And dont complain about the high cost of HEX until you have been ripped off by an Athens Taxi Driver [Never had an honest one yet]
