BA is making me lose status with other airlines!
Naughty BA!

Even though I have already re-qualified for Gold I am still picking BA for long haul over my other alliance, Skyteam. If I have a choice between BA and KLM or AF on a long haul flight than there really is no contest. Flat beds all the way.

Pretty annoying since most of my short haul travel is on AF/KL and LH. I may just re-qualify on number of flights alone (don't think so though) and I do need status for the good seats and lounge access on all my short haul flights. It would only take one or two returns on a long haul flight to secure it but I really don't want to fly the slippery slopes...

Am I mad? What would you do? Just suffer the 20 hrs or so in KLM J to keep status?

Bad BA for having such a good long haul product!
