But on the other hand, I think Wal Marh has a brand, and McDonalds, and Starbucks certainly is a great example. But you can't just slap a brand on. You need to develop the product and culture for a good 5 years - then comes the brand. Must See TV wasn't Must See TV until America voted with their remotes and NBC THursday became HUGE. THEN and only then, NBC tagged it Must see TV.

That brings up a point I've been waiting to make for a while. Generic plane interiors, uniforms and lounges.

It's all just blue and grey and so drab and depressing. I'd love to see United add a splash of the yellow/gold to certain things.

Give the FA's a beautiful gold scarf as you suggest. Give the males a gold tie. How about a spash of gold on the head rests. The cabins are just so drab. No color anywhere. The lounges could just have some gold added.

I've seen a few airlines lately where they add a color to about every 2nd or third head rest. It really brings the cabin alive and gives the airline a personality I'd love to see UA introduce some of that.

Beautifully said, Timos. I work in design in the lux sector, and these tiny things you mention would give UA such a huge upgrade. Even Southwest has a better consistent brand than UA.

The rest of these are hilarious - the Craig Ferguson YT was hilarious.

However, the best is simply: "United by Chase"
