I had no problems with priority everything and lounge access
FYI, at check-in we went directly to the *A Gold counter and they checked us in without asking for identification. The agent just made some comment like "This is an economy ticket?" Seems like we can go to the priority counter even without status. I'm sure some people might attack me for even suggesting such a dishonest practice.

To say again, I do have *A Gold so I don't feel like I'm cheating or making some more deserving person wait longer because I'm using access I'm not entitled to.
We did go to check out the lounge, and there was a long line while they checked people's credentials to enter. We did not want to wait, so just asked a server to grab us some water bottles which they did. So, can't confirm if they would have accepted a *A Gold card that was not credited on our tickets.
