The one (and only) unit at T1 was operating tonight and I was giddy with excitement as it always seems to be closed.

I will echo the earlier sentiments about willingness to pay. At the end of a 16+ hour travel day, I would be very willing to hand over hard cash (per use, even) to avoid the immigration queues.
