About six weeks ago, a customer service rep helped me add my USAirways FF# to a large group of recent past rentals (between 10-12 of them). She was confident they would go through because they were relatively recent (less than 6 months old) and said I should see them post to my USAirways account in about 4 weeks. ^

Fast forward to yesterday, still no updates on the USAirways side so I called Avis customer service to check on the mileage credit. A different rep said... "Oh, I see the problem. You're in Avis First and are earning free weekend coupons. You can't do both! Therefore, your miles won't post."

What?! I hadn't heard this.... the first rep knew I was in Avis First. Seems odd that an Avis First member would have to forego the most basic benefit of all renter's ... frequent flyer miles/points... in order to earn the Avis First perk of free Weekend Rentals (for every 4th rental of 3 days or more).

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM IF THE 2nd REP IS RIGHT OR WRONG?
