Amazing Experience!
So BOS began the Pre Check program this week.
I was unsure what to expect as I live in FLL and haven't yet begun a trip from an airport with Pre Check. Didn't know if I was even in the program as I have never heard anything from DL or the TSA to let me know that I qualify. (I do have GE and months ago, added my PASSID # to my DL profile)
Got to the airport. Very long lines at security (both Sky Priority and normal line)
An agent walked the SP line asking "anyone here have Global Entry?"
I said yes, was shown to the Pre Check line; only 2 in line ahead of me. They scanned my pass, a green light lit up and I went in to the scan area. Just like the old days. I threw my bags on the belt without removing fluids or computers. Left my shoes & belt on. Walked through the metal detector, grabbed my bags back & left.
