I'm going to be flying CX almost exclusively when I relocate to BKK/SIN. So I decided to study up on the MPC & Asia Miles program. Without a doubt the "sticky" on Everything You Need to Know post is the best and most complete I have come across on FT. Kudos to the Moderators/Contributors.

Even though I have MM status on a couple of US airlines I decided to sign up for the Asia Miles program. Since most of my flying will be in Y or Y+ (only flown in J or F previously)I feared being in center seat situations on my LAX-HKG-BKK/SIN trips. At 6'3" you can sense my trepidation. Well, a fine contact at the airline is willing to help. I don't know yet whether I'll be comped MPC Silver or Gold but so far their willingness to be of service is greatly appreciated.
