There is no "appealing" a rm decision for customers. However in this case it's pretty clear. The agent never tried. But really only exp folks get access to RM overrides anyway. All they were doing was re-sending a computer request to ping the inventory, not actually speaking to anyone in RM. Now exp agents can in fact if you call during business hours get access to the analyst working the flight to release a seat.
That was not my experience. When I appealed the rm decision, a message was sent "somewhere" and it took 24 hrs to get the reply.
Thus - I was allowed to appeal (as a Plat) but the appeal was denied.
