I just checked into the Four Points Bangor and believe that management of this hotel gets it. The staff I've spoken with (front desk and bar) are all quite nice and seem excited to welcome people to the hotel.

I was given a breakfast voucher without asking along with a coupon for a drink at the bar. I think the latter isn't normal though. The key packet comes with a coupon for a sample of some draft beer of the month/week/day. I asked what beer that was and then the agent handed me a coupon for a full sized beer. He seemed to have a large stack of those though, so maybe they just make everyone feel special with one.

Rooms / bathrooms are very nice and clean and internet is quick. Combine that with very nice common areas in the lobby and you have one of the best Four Points I've stayed at.

This property puts their best foot forward at the start and that effort is appreciated.
