Exactly. A flexible date search would make it extremely useful. I often know where I need to go and approximately when, knowing I can adjust my departure and return within a short window.
I can imperfectly use DealFinder for this, by picking fixed dates and assuming that fares a few days on either side of those dates will be similar. This is less than optimal.
+1, but I'm not expecting it. AA used to have a flexible search on AA.com, they killed it, presumably because it took up to much computer resources. Adding the "Price + schedule" feature gave us back some of that functionality, but still the time period is more limited and we have to do multiple searches to get the info we used to be able to get with one search.
