OP can always pack a sleeping bag. When denied confirmed check-in, start to arrange your bed on the couch in the lobby. There is a nice one right across from the front desk. I am sure the front desk will be able to arrange something if they don't like this.
Something tells me that with the security surrounding this particular event the OP will not even be able to get close to the front door.
