I was in the lounge between 4:00pm and 6:00pm waiting for my delayed UA flight to IAH. Both sides of the lounge appeared to be in use whilst I was there although I was directed to the left side when I entered. I forgot to mention earlier that they also had a nice salad and a selection of cakes out. No doubt you are correct that there is more substantial food offered when the LH passengers are there. However, I have also been in this lounge in the morning, and the fare available was still much better than any UC I have been in domestically. Also, they keep it quite clean and it has a more exclusive feel to it than the UCs do. Ever been to the UC at IAD? Looks more like a homeless shelter.
