Singapore Terminal Operation and JetStar

Was looking at ways to transit in Singapore with JetStar to do some mileage runs. No check-in luggage. But after the invistigation I found:

1>, No multi city tickets available unless you are in Singapore or any JetStar Asia transit place for more than 26 hours.
2>, No mobile check-in or automatic machine available
3>, You HAVE to PHYSICALLY present yourself at check-in counter in Singapore with jetStar Asia unless you arrive with Air France, KLM or Qantas on one through ticket. That means if you do a mileage run in Singapore with two seperate tickets you have to go through immigration and go to check-in counters and then go back to the terminal.
4>, Was trying to do one Bangkok-Singapore-Taipei run but no price was shown on JetStar website (though the through ticket is avaiable)

So, my question is why jetstar not to making use of the superb Singapore facility to make transfer more friendly? Even Air Asia is doing a wonderful job in Kuala Lumpur!

I think Singapore Airport Terminal Jetstar and Qantas are using is the only very few international airport in Southeast Asia and North Asia where departure and arrival in the same floor space. It could be much better for someone holding transit to get boarding pass and go direct to departure gate if one automatic check-in machine is available, and with hand luggage only. So you could fly from Bangkok in the morning and connect a flight to Kuala Lumpur two hours later without going through immigration. But jetstar is making transit impossible in Singapore if you could not book a through fare!

Any thoughts?
