Wow. I could not disagree more with this post. I was in the club yesterday on the First Class side. Food available beat the pants off any domestic UC I have been in. Hot soup, hot pasta, sushi, jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce. Great beverage selection of beer and wine. Tables were "serviced" every 15 minutes. Upon entry, I only had to show my boarding pass. Lovely lounge that all domestic UCs wish they could be like. Thumbs up for the LH lounge in DTW.
There is no "First Class Side", this is a senator lounge and business lounge, unless you are referring to the right side. They did not direct anyone to the right side, everyone go to the left side, and that is what I experienced, unless they do it differently and serve something more substanial for late afternoon when the LH flight depart.
What time were you there ? And were you flying LH F ?
All I am saying is from 1pm til 4pm, there was none of what you described on the "left" side, so don't mistaken other readers.
