Same thing happened to me while searching ORD-FLL. Received an email this morning stating the current price for the dates I wanted and "better" price if I was "flexible" enough to travel in August (? - no). I usually do NOT log in to aa.com until I am ready to purchase. Must have checked my miles or something before that search. I do routinely clear cache/cookies (especially at work). I also noticed some routes mysteriously going up $5-$10 when searching from home versus work.
