I requested an 8 pm checkin at the Sheraton LaGuardia, in September. Denied. Said because of " high occupancy". I thought this benefit would be MOST useful at an airport hotel.
The denial told me that I could alter my request and try again, so I submitted a 7pm request. That was a week ago. No reply. Being ignored. Lovely.
Follow up to my situation:
Through my post, my situation was elevated to a gentleman at Starwood who is working on the implementation of the Your24. It seems that some properties may be requiring just a little bit of education on this. My original request of an 8pm check-in/out has been confirmed, and I can't be more pleased. Big thanks to those that assisted!
