1) Welcome to Flyertalk
2) Save yourself the excess baggage fees; stand on top of your car or a small shed and throw the tv to the ground. Repeat until the resultant pieces fit into a standard carry-on bag. The result will be the same, though not as neatly done, if you check it.
3) Buy some books if you need entertainment in Burma
4) Buy a new tv in the UK
5) What does this have to do with the Star Alliance?
