I was in rant mode when I wrote that! But FF schemes will only work for the airlines if they encourage us to fly with those airlines, and the fact that Qantas E class fares don't earn with BA is one of the things that makes me think twice about flying Qantas. Particularly as I'm someone who only just crawls over the threshold for status each year, so every TP counts.
