Thank you both for the replies. The part I left out is that it does not seem to credit their regional carriers either. I know they are technically not United "metal" but the ticket is fully processed through United. I don't think you can buy a ticket from Republic, Chitaqua (spelling) or any of their other regional carriers to get to Chicago and then out...
