To me, the packaged turkey meat products have two major drawbacks; texture and flavor. Other than that, they're fine. Pressed formed meat just doesn't have the right "mouth feel." It's like chewing on some sort of gelatinous goo. And these products, especially the "smoked" ones seem to have a "chemical" taste.

Of course that's just me. My cat loves OM honey baked ham. Won't eat other varieties, only the honey baked. Get it on sale, separate it into several/many little pouches which are frozen and defrosted as needed for treats. He also likes really good, very rare roast beef, but at something like $20/lb he don't get that too often.
