just got a text from my step father that that their flight CDG-ATL was delayed 7 hours and will have to overnight in ATL. He said they sat waiting for 5 hours then they did an a/c swap and 2 hours later they boarded...not sure of the flight number, but it's definitely a mechanical delay....

I'm assuming DL will give them a hotel for the night in ATL but what about a voucher? what should they ask for with a 7 hour delay?
