Sorry, That is just wrong. I hate it when benifits are not available and some alternative form of compensation is not offered. They should have at least offered you some points compensation in light of not being able to accomediate the late checkout.

I am 0 for 4 when trying to use Suite upgrades so far as well. Pending award never turns to upgrade. Still have ten in my account. I have had much better luck being upgraded at the front desk.
