Nope, no emergency landing, just a charter, as noted. We run them regularly in/out of several Pennsylvania locations, although I can't recall for whom. They all seem to go south to Florida, IIRC.
The other half of charter movements in the PA->Florida market is for a group called HEI that works with mostly high school music bands. Usually they run up to PHL but not only. They run on the FL side (albeit a lot of the time on scheduled segments) as well and if a 73G appears where a 717 should thats probably a reason why.
