Bit a 'standard room' could be any number of sizes, variety of views, over multiple floors etc. I guess a hotel could put '500-900 sq ft, view of city/ river/lake/red light district, low/medium/high floor, queen, 2 queen or king bed, etc. but I am not sure that is terribly helpful.

I like to know bed type, beyond that.i am willing to accept the room may vary in other ways. I think if you put tons of photos, people may well complain that their room isn't identical. A guide photo (furnishing, modern, traditional) is nice but zoom able, etc. won't tell you anything apart from as it relates to one room in the potentially hundreds.
