I've looked at intra Asia flights, and they tend to be expensive

Picking random dates in March 2013 I'm seeing as low as 207 Dollars US each way.

I have only purchased one Air Asia flight in my life, and that was over 5 years ago, so have no current experience.

I have found using miles to be good value considering the high cost of travel.
