US or UA?!?! I was told NO mileage accrual at all on United!!! Not just once either, but many times. It doesn't matter if it was for my dog or if it was empty, it should still apply I felt. There was the case of the woman who had an expensive violin and booked a seperate seat, she was collecting mileage but when airline found out (gate agent called), they revoked the account and took the miles. Now what do i do? Now how the heck do I get all those miles credited? At least 200K!

You know how they close the doors and some F/As traveling (not working) look for available seats...once one came up to me (last row 757 FC) and said, "do you mind?" as if I should move the pooch. I said very quietly, "this is a paid seat." and he goes, "Oh HAIL no, I have never in my life..." hilarious.

Back on topic, good look to the poster and safe travels.
