I find it strange that I find much better organized, more detailed information on 3rd party booking sites like Booking.com including more photos of the given room and saying how many square meters is the size.

I have a feeling that hotels don't want to make it easy for you to book direct with them by not showing nearly any photos of the room, not saying how many square meter it's in size etc. Strange. But why?
